Industry leaders in the hospitality/catering sector, Masterchefs engaged us to extend their reach with a visual re-brand and a refinement of their message.

We began with a workshop session involving key members of the team to talk through the history of the company, current client list, points of pride, aspirations for the future and ultimately, to define brand values. From there we created a positioning statement which formed the basis for the development of the brand identity.

 

The existing name Masterchefs Hospitality was contracted and modernised as Master Chefs.

TAGLINE

The tagline also works to shift perceptions of Master Chefs beyond that of catering company, to articulate the broader aspirations of the brand as it diversifies into other areas of the food industry and to distinguish from competitors. For that reason the line is non-specific, not nailing the brand to just one area of food production. It communicates our brand values and establishes a tone of voice for Master Chefs 2.0

 

VISUAL IDENTITY

This visual identity incorporates a brand mark, set of flags representing the values of the company and a colour palette of food inspired, earthy tones. Typography is simple and approachable. The system was designed to be suitable for use in corporate and retail settings.

Since rebranding Master Chefs have won major contracts at University of Limerick and Mary Immaculate College.
